What causes my 93 honda civic to leak water from timing belt cover .?

its a steady drip running or not. Shot water to the hood when i tried to start it without the cap on the radiator. Air bubbles into the overflow tank at higher rpm. Takes a while to overheat but it will. Fans are working properly. In the process of changing the head gasket. PAIN!...

HELP! How much trouble is it to go ahead and change out the water pump! Keep in mind i've got 40 bucks in my pocket! minus the thirty 2 for the water pump... A five for another pack of smokes and a fresh MOUTAIN DEW! Make that two bucks. Give or take a dime. Options? What causes my 93 honda civic to leak water from timing belt cover .?
If you change the water pump, you may as well include the timing belt. CHA-CHING$$$

I would check to make sure the head bolts are tight first and if so, I would start looking at the timing cover a little closer. It could be the water pump, but I don't think it is. I hope you don't have a cracked head. What causes my 93 honda civic to leak water from timing belt cover .?
you might not need a pump, it'd leak by the pump, not from under your timming cover. see if the head bolts are loose, you might need to torque them
