had the head gaskets changed and oil pump and code 13 shows up on scan tool. Code 13 is oxygen sensor low signal. The car runs like crap. How do I fix the problem does it have anything to do with the catalytic converter. It wants to kill when I step on the gas, spits and sputters and car shakes. Please help the guy that fixed my car doesnt now what is wrong.Code 13 shows up on scan on a 92 firebird. 305 tbi?
Definitely could be the Cat, it will create excessive back pressure and blow the head gasket. Also make sure the timing is exact and that the firing order is 18436572.
