if you have to ask then think twice about doing it...
its a fairly easy DIY job if you've done them before..but we all have to start somewhere!...first job is to buy or get a manual[library] and read up..all the info you need is there...enjoy.
EDIT...
IF your serious contact me with your email address and ill send you some screen prints of the timing belt setups and head tightening sequence...and you dont need a torque wrench.
[but ill send them tomorrow as im ''on a promise''....]I need to change my clio 1.4rt head gasket and timing belt, also need to know how to set the timing?
If you've not done it before, get yourself a workshop manual.
Taking the head off to change the gasket is not difficult, but it takes a long time. You need a torque wrench for when you come to put the head back on or you could twist it. The timing belt is also fairly straightforward. You need to line up the marks on the pulleys.I need to change my clio 1.4rt head gasket and timing belt, also need to know how to set the timing?
There is so much information you need, your best bet would be to buy a Haynes manual.
You are going to save a fortune by doing it yourself,so it`s worth the 拢20.
You can then sell the book on ebay and get some of the money back.I need to change my clio 1.4rt head gasket and timing belt, also need to know how to set the timing?

Need to ask why you need to change the head gasket, it might not be just as straight forward. Head might need skimmed etc. Could mean more money than just a gasket. Is the car losing water? Is it over heating etc?
