i think i blew a head gasket but no water is coming out but the coolant is backing up so yeah i believe i did...99 v6 malibu...how hard is to change a head gasket.....also how long and what kind of tools would u need?
First things first.....you need to do a radiator pressure test to see what is really leaking from your cooling system.....find out for sure if that is your problem, a head gasket......unless you are very good mechanically this is a job for a skilled mechanic....not for you and your friends to tackle in a garage or a driveway........after the presssure test to find out what your real problem is call around to several repair shops and get prices....prices will be all over the place for a head gasket job......call around and save.....99 v6 malibu...how hard is to change a head gasket.....also how long and what kind of tools would u need?
