remove all electrical to top side of engine, remove air filter, remove valve cover, dissasemble cam remove timming chain, remove head, remove gasket replace with new one. but if your going to do this get a manuel and follow stepp for step. especially the parts on timing pay close attention. if you can't understand the manual take it to a tech....How to change bad head gaskets on 96 Cadillac Eldorado?
don't even bother to try and do this yourself. you have to pull the engine,trans assembly out the bottom with the cradle
